The number of registered users of Korea's Internet domain .kr now exceeds 1 million, the National Internet Development Agency said Monday. According to the agency, the number was 1,002,429 as of last Saturday.
The number was 61,000 in 1993, when the domain was introduced. It had increased to 207,000 in 1999 and to 517,000 in 2000.
Meanwhile, the number of registered users of China's national Internet domain .cn is the largest in the world.
