The Korea Disabled Veterans Organization and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will build a sanatorium in Vietnam for victims of Agent Orange poisoning from the Vietnam War. The two organizations announced Monday the ground-breaking ceremony of the Korea-Vietnam Peace Village will be on Tuesday morning in Quang Nam Province.
The project is part events for the 60th anniversary of the Republic of Korea. It will be built on 32,000 sq. m of land provided by the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province with W2 billion from the KDVO and the ministry. Construction will be completed by December next year.
