Golf.com ranked 20-year-old Korean golfer Shin Ji-yai first in the list of the "Dominators of the Year," ahead of Tiger Woods and Lorena Ochoa. A network site of Sports Illustrated.com and CNN, Golf.com features news from the world of golf.
Golf.com wrote, "Shin won her first major title, the British Women's Open, and was the first player to sweep all three majors on the Korean tour. She also won the LPGA's season-ending ADT Championship and its US$1 million first prize."

Second place went to Tiger Woods, who won the U.S. Open despite a knee injury, and third place went to Ochoa, who won a total of seven titles in the LPGA Tour this season. Vicky Hurst of the United States, the money leader in the Future's Tour, was placed fourth. Danny Lee, a Korean New Zealander who became the youngest person to win the U.S. Amateur Championship, came in fifth.
