With a record of two wins and one defeat, Team Asia is leading the Internationals historically, having lost by 8 to 16 in the first year, but winning in 2006 and triumphing by a landslide victory in 2007.
Pak Se-ri, skipper of the Asian team, said she still remembers the feeling of raising the trophy last year and hopes her team can repeat their performance this year.
Annika Sorenstam, who will draw the curtain on her LPGA Tour career, said, ¡°I feel very comfortable and confident in our team this year. We have some of the best players in the world on our side, but you¡¯ve got to remember that we all have to step up to the challenge and do the best we can.¡±
