'Kiwi' Chamber Opens in Korea
The New Zealand Chamber of Commerce officially opened in Korea on Wednesday, with 15 members, including kiwi fruit producer Zespri, and Fonterra, a dairy company. Mr. Les Edwards, vice president of Lee & DDB, has been elected head of the Chamber of Commerce.

Chairman Edwards said, ¡°We will forge an emotional bond, beyond an economic perspective. We will make efforts to draw people¡¯s attention so that a free trade agreement can be concluded between the two countries.¡±

The New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Korea is informally known as the ¡°Kiwi Chamber of Commerce¡± after its namesake Kiwi, which is both a fruit and a bird symbolizing New Zealand.
