On Tuesday the ruling party plans to disorganize the Global Strategy Institute, a preparatory institution for the presidential election, reforming it to a Korean version of the Hoover Institute, a conservative think-tank in the United States.
A key official in the ruling party said, ¡°President Lee is feeling the need to establish a comprehensive national strategy and vision,¡± and ¡°he recently expressed his desire to create a new institution that will provide him with profound insight, designed to follow the example set by the Hoover Institute.¡± The Hoover Institute has one of the best research workforces in the U.S. and has formed a labor pool of the Republican regime, even though it is officially a neutral body.
