Korea, OPEC to Start Holding Regular Meetings Next Year
Korea and the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries will hold regular meetings starting next year.

An official with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade met with OPEC Secretary-General Abdalla El Badri at the organization's headquarters in Vienna earlier this week.

The Ministry says an exact official date has not yet been set, but the meeting will likely take place in Korea early next year.

Korea is the world's fifth largest petroleum importer, with 80 percent of its oil coming from OPEC members.
