Samsung Ranked 62nd Largest IntĄŻl Firm
Samsung Electronics has moved up 25 spots in a ranking of the world's 100 largest non-financial firms.

According to the 2008 World Investment Report filed by the UN Conference on Trade and Development, Samsung Electronics ranked 62nd in 2006, up from 87th the year before in terms of assets.

The Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group, the world's fifth-largest automaker, took the 90th spot, entering the top 100 for the first time.

U.S.-based General Electric remained on top, trailed by British oil company BP and Toyota.
