Korea is living up to its image as one of the most wired countries with almost every household having access to the high-speed Internet.
According to the Korea Communications Commission, 620,000 more households subscribed to high-speed Internet services as of the end of July this year, bringing
the total to over 15 million or around 95 percent of all households.
An official at the telecom regulator said although the subscription rate is nearing saturation point, the number is likely to go up when Internet Protocol Television services are launched next year.
