The South Korean soccer team is hoping to move closer to a spot in the 2010 World Cup in this week's regional qualifiers.
Its first match -- against rival North Korea, fresh from defeating the United Arab Emirates 2 -1 last Saturday -- is in Shanghai on Wednesday.
The two Koreas, Saudi Arabia, Iran and the UAE are in Group Two, with only the top two teams getting an automatic berth to the World Cup in South Africa.
The venue was changed from Pyongyang to Shanghai after North Korea refused to allow the South to raise its flag or play its national anthem in its capital.
North Korea has not qualified for the World Cup since 1966.
