The LG Group has completed Korea's largest solar power plant in Taean, South Chungcheong Province. LG Solar Energy was dedicated in Taean County on Wednesday, a solar power plant with an annual power generating capacity of 19,000 MWh on a site measuring about 300,000 sq. m.
LG Group will build another solar power plant and produce solar energy generation equipment including polysilicon and solar cells, whose prices have been rapidly increasing due to high demand.
