Korean Tourists Return from Thailand
Korean tourists have finally started returning from Thailand. Around 1,500 Koreans were stranded on the resort island of Phuket for four days after Phuket International Airport was closed by anti-government protesters.

All flights from the island were cancelled as protesters besieged the airport. Over the weekend, some 300 people chose to take a 14-hour bus ride to Bangkok before getting on an Asiana flight back to Seoul.

Operations at the airport have reportedly returned to normal. Korean travelers began arriving at Incheon International Airport on Monday morning.
