Korean Phones a Hit With U.S. Consumers
Korean handsets are capturing the hearts of U.S. consumers. The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) said Thursday that three Korean cell phones -- LG Shine Black, LG enV2 Maroon and Samsung BlackJack II -- are named as top sellers on the U.S.¡¯ largest website for cell phones, wireless plans and cellular accessories, Wirefly.

LG¡¯s Vu CU920 also topped Wirefly¡¯s Top 10 ¡°Back-to-School¡± cell phones, leaving phones by the world¡¯s leading handset companies Sony Ericsson and Nokia behind.

U.S. experts say Korean cell phones are popular in the American market because they not only sport state-of-the-art features but also have a sophisticated design.
