Cellular Service to Become Available on Cruise Ships
For the first time in Korea, a cellular service will be available to passengers on domestic cruise ships.

The Central Radio Management Office, which manages radio frequencies in Korea, announced Monday the establishment of a telecommunications station on cruise ships to alleviate reception problems often experienced by passengers.

Starting in early September, the service will become available on passenger ship The Ohamana.

The office expects the service will also help local fishermen and plans to expand the service soon.
