Pres. Lee: Kumgang Shooting 'Beyond Common Sense'
President Lee Myung-bak says he will take a firm stance toward North Korea with regards to the fatal shooting of a South Korean tourist by a North Korean soldier at Mt. Kumgang earlier this month. In an impromtu meeting with reporters covering the top office, President Lee said North Korea's action was beyond common sense.

Meanwhile, the Unification Ministry announced it will release an interim report on the shooting death of 53-year-old Park Wang-ja on Thursday. The ministry says the investigation will continue into the incident, which occurred when the South Korea tourist wandered away from her beach hotel and into territory not permitted for entry.
