The Seoul International Book Fair kicked off Wednesday in downtown Seoul and will run through Sunday, featuring a variety of books from 28 countries.
Among the many events is an exhibit of translated Korean childrenĄ¯s books to promote local books to international publishers.
The festival is also inviting guest partners starting this year, with China being the first. Beijing's top publishers are taking part in the event, and an exhibit of the history of Chinese publishing, a copyright forum, and a Chinese calligraphy and artworks exhibit are also taking place.
