Korean Air on Wednesday announced the publication of the second book of its City Guide Book series ¡°One Fine Day in Seoul.¡± The first book of the series, ¡°One Fine Day in Paris¡±, came out in March.
The 24-paged compact foldable guide in English introduces Seoul to foreign tourists visiting the capital. Besides information on popular tourists sites where travelers can experience the traditional Korea, such as the palaces, Insa-dong, and Samcheong-dong, the book also offers information on trendy cafés, bars and clubs, the airline said in a press release.
It also provides information on cultural events taking place in museums, galleries, and concert halls, and recommendations for half-day and one-day tours for layover passengers. It offers tips on shopping in Dongdaemun, Itaewon, and Cheongdam-dong, and introduces famous restaurants. A list of emergency contact numbers is included as well.
The guidebook will be given out free on all Korean Air flights bound for Korea to non-Korean passengers traveling in first and prestige, or business, classes. It is also available for free download on the Korean Air homepage.
