Yun Jong-yong, the CEO and vice chairman of Samsung Electronics, leaves the post after leading the flagship company for 11 years. The 64-year old is replaced by senior executive Lee Yoon-woo (62), who was behind the company's success in semiconductors.
Yun was made an advisor to the Samsung Group. The group will reshuffle executive positions and announce a revamp plan around Friday.
