The Seoul metropolitan government is as always looking for ways to boost tourism and city officials are using superlatives not just in their slogans to help them this time.
From May until November Seoul city is set to hold the "Guinness Food Festival" in eight different venues across the capital.
The festival will feature a wide range of contests ranging from hamburger-eating and beer-drinking competitions to making the biggest rice cake.
The city government says celebrities and people with food-related titles in the Guinness book of world records will be invited to different events as well.
