Body parts of a disappeared girl were found on Tuesday in the Gunja Stream near Shihwa Lake, where a suspect identified only by his surname Jeong had said he dumped the body of the victim. Police discovered the arms, legs and torso of the girl but continue to search for the head and other parts. They drained the stream to find the remaining parts.
Jeong (39) is suspected of kidnapping and murdering two elementary schoolgirls, Lee Hye-jin and Wu Ye-seul, who had gone missing on Christmas day last year. But the man claims that he killed the two schoolmates in a car accident and hid their bodies to cover up the accident.

Police believe that Jeong is lying, as his statements contradict the evidence. Based on bloodstains in a car Jeong borrowed and other circumstantial evidence, police applied for an arrest warrant for Jeong on Tuesday. The suspect said he had moved the bodies of the girls in the trunk of the rental car and mutilated them in the bathroom of his home. He used a double-edged saw and dumped the dismembered bodies on the morning of the next day.
Then what would be the motive? Some 700 pornographic video clips were found at Jeong's home, some of them child porn, suggesting that Jeong could be a pedophile, although the videos are not direct evidence, and industrial glue discovered at his home led police to believe that Jeong committed the crime while intoxicated by inhaling the fumes.
