DNA Tests to Be Conducted on Nepal Crash Victims
The investigation continues in Nepal over Monday's crash of a UN helicopter.

Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff and Foreign Ministry say the UN Mission in Nepal has officially announced the death of all 10 people on board the flight at the time of the accident.

They include a Korean military officer who served as an arms monitor there.

UN authorities, however, plan to conduct DNA tests with support from Korea's Joint Chiefs to positively identify the bodies, including Korea's Lt. Col. Park Hyung-jin.

The testing is necessary as both UN and Nepali authorities have confirmed a total of 12 bodies have been found at the accident site and they are burned beyond recognition.
