But it's unclear how warmly Korean passengers will welcome Asiana's audio book service since it will mainly offer lectures and business books in English.

For the first month of the service Asiana has prepared 10 audio books, including "Greek & Roman Myths" and "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" for children and "Innovation Story" for business travelers.

The service will be first available on aircraft HL7428 flying on the New York and Manila routes and HL7528 on the Beijing, Narita and Hanoi routes, and later expanded to all jets with the airline's audio- and video-on-demand system.

The airline plans to increase the number of books available to around 30, including works in English, Japanese and Chinese for foreign passengers and basic foreign-language study books.
