Korean Shares Rise on Foreign Buying
Shares ended higher Thursday as foreigners continued to buy stocks for the third consecutive day.

The market went through a choppy session in the morning, though, as investors were cautious of other Asian markets including Japan.

The benchmark KOSPI gained 15 points to end the session at 1,736 while the tech-heavy KOSDAQ added four points.

On the foreign currency counter, the Korean won traded at nearly W937 against the greenback.
