In North Korea officials from Seoul and Pyongyang have wrapped up two days of talks on improving cross-border rail service.
Delegates from the two Koreas discussed cutting back the number of cars on a freight train that runs between South Korea's border city of Munsan and the North's Bongdong near the inter-Korean Kaesong industrial park.
Seoul reportedly proposed adjusting the number of cars to fit the amount of cargo being transported across the border. Daily freight service up and down the western corridor began last month as agreed by the two Korean prime ministers in November.
Seoul and Pyongyang also discussed the results of an on-site survey to repair the regime's dilapidated railroad tracks between Kaesong and Shinuiju.
