The actress Ok So-ri, whose high-profile divorce has been making headlines, on Sunday denied claims by her estranged husband Park Chul and former business partner Baek Jong-eun that their 11-year marriage ended due to the actress¡¯ adultery with an Italian chef. Baek, the owner of a wedding consultancy, at a press conference on Oct. 24 claimed the star couple¡¯s marriage broke up due to the actress¡¯ extramarital relationship with the Italian only identified a G.

Appearing with her family, Ok told reporters she had contemplated divorce for a long time, and G. was merely her private English and cooking tutor. She denied any extramarital relationship with the cook, saying that she learned English and cooking from him in cafes, restaurants or his home.
Ok said she had seldom been happy during her marriage and her husband had rarely had sex with her -- no more than 10 times during the 11-year marriage. The actress said she suffered depression due to the lack of conversation with her husband. According to Ok, she demanded a divorce, but Park rejected the request, telling her to see another man instead. Around the time, Ok met a classical singer at a concert and dated him for three months. But Ok ended the relationship when the singer started asking for money. She said her husband knew of the affair.
Ok said her main dispute with her husband was over custody of their eight-year old daughter. She appealed to Park not to make the situation nastier.
