Korea is expected to lend Vietnam a helping hand in the field of education. Seoul's Education Minister Kim Shin-il who is visiting Hanoi said Tuesday that officials there have asked for Korea's support in upgrading Vietnam's educational infrastructure especially in information technology.
Minister Kim reportedly agreed to the proposal, citing the two countries' MOU to promote collaboration on education. Vietnam is seeking to develop advanced training in the field of IT.
