Foreign Companies Open Doors to New Recruits

Foreign companies in Korea began this year's public recruitment session with the start of the month. This year companies are offering more opportunities for new recruits than in the past.

IBM Korea is hiring 50 employees for areas such as sales, service sales and R&D until Oct. 14. Applicants must have a university degree in any major, and fluent English speakers are preferred.

Janssen Korea plans to recruit 50 sales people by Oct. 12. While all majors are welcome, applicants must be university graduates.

Volvo Korea is also recruiting new employees for areas such as R&D and manufacturing technology until Oct. 8. Applicants must have a university degree, TOEIC score of more than 600 and an average university grade of B or higher.

Industrial and process automation business Festo Korea is hiring 15 new or experienced employees for its technology sales division until Oct. 7. Applicants must have a university degree and experienced employees must have at least two years experience.

Pfizer Korea is recruiting interns until Oct. 21. University graduates, graduates-to-be and university students who can delay classes for the first half of next year can apply. Successful applicants will work for Pfizer for six months; superior interns may be hired as regular workers.
