Several products from toymaker Mattel are being recalled in Korea, after the company issued a mass recall in the U.S. when lead was detected in some toys.

Mattel Korea, the U.S. company's Korean unit, announced on Wednesday that it will recall some imported products in line with the U.S. head office's decision.

The products to be recalled in Korea include Pollywood Limo SC Vehicle, Twirl & Swirl Beauty Case, Pollyworld Rockin' Theme Park, Barbie and Tanner and Cars Movie Moment Assortment.

The Cars Movie Moment Assortment is being recalled because it contains paint which was found to have an unsafe level of lead.

The other products are being recalled voluntarily by Mattel Korea because they contain small magnets that are prone to falling off, the Korean branch said.
