N.Korea Will Seek Nuclear Recognition at Summit: Pundit
North Korean leader Kim Jong-il wants to use the upcoming second inter-Korean summit as a chance to win recognition for North Korea as a nuclear power, former New York Times military reporter Richard Halloran believes.

Halloran wrote in the Washington Times that the North had been trying to get acknowledged as a nuclear power like India and Pakistan by the five other nations in six-way nuclear talks since it conducted a nuclear test last October. He predicted the North Korean leader will urge South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun to recognize the North¡¯s right to possess nuclear weapons.
