U.S., N.Korean Nuclear Envoys in Beijing Head-to-Head
U.S. chief nuclear negotiator Christopher Hill and his North Korean counterpart Kim Kye-gwan met in Beijing on Monday evening.

In the one-on-one meeting, the two key-players in six-nation talks discussed the agendas for working group meetings in the Chinese city of Shenyang, including what nuclear weapon North Korea is to declare. Asked about a promise to strike North Korea from a U.S. list of states sponsoring terrorism, Hill said, ¡°That¡¯s something that is in accord with the February agreement.¡± He added the issue should be decided by watching North Korea closely.

Hill was optimistic about his meeting with Kim, ¡°I think it¡¯s going to be a very good meeting, a very serious meeting,¡± he said.
