Korean and Chinese officials are set to hold in October a joint meeting on the feasibility of a possible bilateral free trade deal.
Seoul's foreign ministry said on Thursday the two sides will hold their third joint research meeting in China focusing on carrying out concrete discussions in the service and investment field.
The second round of the joint study meeting wrapped up its two day run in Seoul on Wednesday.
Government officials, academia and business people took part in the latest meeting to exchange views in four main areas including products services and cooperation.
The Korea-China FTA joint study meeting was launched early this year with the aim of reviewing the feasibility of Seoul's free trade agreement with Beijing.
