When it comes to doing business, more and more Koreans are finding opportunities ripe in Vietnam.

And to crank up business opportunities for Koreans further, Commerce Industry and Energy Minister Kim Young-ju visited Vietnam to meet with senior government officials and business leaders.

In Hanoi, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung agreed to let Korean firms work with his government on long-term investment projects, in particular those involving energy, transport and infrastructure.

Minister Kim also took part in a business forum that focused on the best ways to enter the Vietnamese market.

Until Thursday Minister Kim will bring his mission to a number of government agencies in Vietnam. His entourage comprises executives from 120 Korean businesses.
