U.S. police are tracking the Virginia Tech shooter¡¯s email and cell phone records and examining the college computer server in their search for clues about the motive behind the massacre. Investigators have sought a seizure warrant for Seung-hui Cho¡¯s electronic data, believing that he may have told others of his plan for the attack. Police also seized Emily Hilscher¡¯s notebook computer and cell phone to discover why the student became Cho¡¯s first victim. Investigators presume there was a reason the killer first went to the West Ambler Johnston dorm to shoot her, since he never lived in the dorm.
Police on Saturday said Cho fired a total of 220 bullets during the second attack at Norris Hall, where 31 people including the shooter himself died. Cho bought two 10-round magazines for the Walther P22 - one of two handguns used in the massacre -- from a gun shop in Idaho through the U.S. auction website eBay in March.

Meanhwile, the shooter¡¯s older sister, Sun-kyung Cho, told AP, ¡°Our family is so very sorry for my brother¡¯s unspeakable actions. It is a terrible tragedy for all of us.¡± She said the Cho¡¯s had ¡°always been a close, peaceful and loving family. My brother was quiet and reserved, yet struggled to fit in. This is someone that I grew up with and loved. Now I feel like I didn¡¯t know this person.
¡°We pray for their families and loved ones who are experiencing so much excruciating grief. And we pray for those who were injured and for those whose lives are changed forever because of what they witnessed and experienced,¡± she said in a statement on the family¡¯s behalf. ¡°He has made the world weep. We are living a nightmare.¡±
