Video Clip of Vicious School Bullying Sparks Uproar
A video clip showing a group of girl students assaulting another is inciting controversy on the Internet. In the six-minute clip, five or six students without any provocation attack the girl, one ripping off the victim¡¯s glasses and beating her hands repeatedly down on the girl¡¯s head. The victim bursts into tears, a signal for the rest to start battering her in a profanity-laced onslaught of kicking and punching.

The assailants take the victim¡¯s long hair and pull it behind her head before forcing her to face the camera. With a reddened face, the girl is force on her knees and wringing her hands in an imploring gesture says, ¡°I¡¯m sorry, I made a mistake. It won¡¯t happen again.¡± In the midst of their violent assault the attackers can be seen singing songs and sending text messages. For the last act, the gang ties up the girl so she cannot move and take her clothes off.

¡°I just don¡¯t have the words...Our nation, the parents, the school, just who is it that must take the blame for this? Who would want to send their kids to school after seeing this? Just what is it that kids are learning in school anyway? Every last one needs to be found and punished.¡± a netizen said.

The clip was posted by an anonymous Internet user on the site Pandora TV. The company pixilated the faces out and edited the film down to three minutes 40 seconds. ¡°We had many concerns surrounding the public release of this shocking video, which seems to have been made on Dec. 8, but we felt it showed the severity of teen violence in our schools which most people only hear about second-hand, so we released the edited version.¡±
