Samsung Electronics announced Sunday it will release its refined just-for-women Aqua Slim Phone (SGH-E570) in Russia. The phone takes an oval face design that brings to mind a water droplet and adds in a long exterior LCD monitor at the center to emphasize a slim image. To fit womenĄŻs taste, the product comes in five colors festival orange, oasis blue, special silver, and viola black with sweet pink as a base color.
It is also equipped with special functions for women including a calorie counter. The calorie counter makes it possible to accurately calculate the amount of calories burned while not only exercising, but also daily activities including cleaning, and walking. The company anticipates that Aqua Slim Phone that follows a predecessor Aqua (SGH-E530), which was released in various colors in May, 2005 and became a big hit selling over 2.5 million units, will lead the women phone market.
