The 10 Million Dollar Girl Michelle Wie (17, Nike Golf) has been invited for the fourth straight year to the PGA tour Sony Open. With the invite from Sony, one of her main sponsors, Wie will be able to take part in the Sony Open that will be held at the Waialae Country Club in Oahu (Honolulu), Hawaii on Jan. 11, AP reported Wednesday.
Wie, who still faces the challenge of making the cut against the men, has failed now in six tries on the PGA Tour. At a news conference in Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle's office, Wie thanked Sony and added she hasn't decided what other events she will play in next year apart from this one.
