The nation¡¯s second largest personal computer maker Trigem has released a desktop PC named Little Lluon whose body is a mere 4.4 cm thick. Despite its small size, it has a higher capacity than existing products, making use of Intel¡¯s latest CPU Core 2 Core or Core Duo. The PC comes stocked with 1 Gb memory DDR2. The 3-kg body makes it the slimmest and lightest desktop PC among domestic products with its weight falling within the laptop range, which is around 3 kg for 15.4-inch screen laptops.

The firm says the new PC is light enough to be moved easily from place to place in the house. ¡°We focused on making the design appealing so that the product could also be enjoyed as an aesthetically pleasing addition to living rooms.¡± Adopting Intel¡¯s built-in graphic card GMA950, the product features vivid image reproduction. Upgrading the graphics card to increase the unit¡¯s power as a gamer¡¯s PC is also a cinch. In addition, the PC has a SATA2 hard disk at 320-250 Gb, a wireless keyboard and mouse as standard options. Customers who buy certain add-on options will be given coupons they can use to upgrade to Microsoft¡¯s next-generation operating system Windows Vista when it hits the market in January.
