Korean Playboy model Lee Pani got hitched last month, it has emerged only now. Lee Pani married a 26-year-old chef at a Japanese restaurant with the last name Cho at a Catholic church in Seoul on Sept. 23. The wedding is understood to have taken place without the usual bells and whistles and was attended only by close family and friends.
¡°We were puzzled when Lee Pani said she would be getting married, but since the wedding was being arranged by her family, it was unavoidable,¡± a sour official for Playboy¡¯s Korean partner Spice TV says. ¡°It hasn¡¯t even been that long since she won first place in the Playboy model contest, so it really is bewildering. This is the time when she should be out there promoting herself, but whether or not to be active is a decision that has to be made by the individual.¡±
Lee has made no appearances on Spice TV since she tied the knot, giving rise to rumors she decided to call it quits. The wedding went ahead amid complete secrecy, to the consternation of Spice TV staff.
Lee unveiled her 174 cm of curvaceous beauty at the first-ever Playboy model contest in Korea. After winning the contest, she started studying entertainment and broadcasting at the Dong-Ah Broadcasting College. Her schedule over the last seven months included traveling to the Playboy Mansion in the U.S. to shoot the "Playboy World Team Photo Shoot" that coincided with the World Cup in Germany.
