According to a recent report, normal Korean men age 20-40 have about 79 percent of the male hormone in their systems as the normal Western male. Due to that fact, Korean males could have lower sexual performance and the signs of middle age could hit sooner than for most Western men, the report suggests. Specifically middle-aged Korean men, who, due to the continued stagnation of the economy are living in fear of being shown the door at work, or reaching mandatory retirement age, have been hit hard by the social and economic stresses, which may be the reason that 80 percent of men over 40 are said to have experienced a decline in sex drive. But not to fear, the experts on men's sexuality at the Adams Clinic have suggested seven practices that can be added to daily life to increase sexual performance.

Make Kegel exercises a part of your daily life

As one ages, the sphincter muscle's ability to contract diminishes, and it is easy for the feeling of climax to weaken. Lie flat on your stomach and cross your ankles then for around 10 seconds tighten the sphincter and then release. Repeat the process. Strengthening the muscles that surround the anus and coccyx help in increasing sexual performance.

Do both aerobic and anaerobic exercises

The muscles of the abdomen and the lower parts of the body are responsible for inducing and maintaining an erection, as well as the level of stiffness. Therefore, doing both aerobic and anaerobic exercises that train the muscles of the lower parts aids in sexual performance. Specifically jogging, cycling, tennis, and trips to the fitness center can give a boost to one's time under the sheets.

Keep a regular sex life

A well scheduled sex life blocks the age-related onset of penile atrophy and helps prevent impotence while hastening the secretion of male hormone.

Sleep well

The growth hormone that plays a part in sex is excreted between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. The hormone that is critical in sexual performance is widely secreted and circulated after a deep state of sleep is achieved so getting to bed early and sleeping well can be of great help.

Keep a healthy diet

Saturated fats, trans fatty acids (trans fats), salt, and sugars age the blood vessels and cause a decrease in sexual performance. Saturated fats can be found in animal fat, dairy products, and butter, while trans fats are found in margarine, instant foods, snacks, and fast food.

Bean sprouts, tofu and other bean products have an ingredient that lowers cholesterol therefore they can help treat one of the causes of impotence which is hardening of the arteries. Onions and garlic which have since a long time ago been thought of as aphrodisiacs can also help bring stronger erections.

Additionally, taking cold medications, painkillers, high blood pressure medication, or stomach ulcer medication for a long period of time can also become an obstacle to good sexual performance, so caution should be exercised. Also, excessive smoking and drinking should be avoided.
