Samsung Electronics has launched what it dubs a ¡°Super Music Phone¡± (SCH-B570) via SK Telecom, the electronics makes said Tuesday. Equipped with an 8-GB hard disc drive to store more than 1,500 MP 3 music files, it has a lesser-spotted ¡°golf manager¡± function that allows users to search information on golf courses nationwide and how to play to score winning shots on a particular course. A built-in GPS feature allows users to calculate distance to the green and tee shot distance, though for a fee.

The phone has a range of other features including mobile TV, psychological tests and motion recognition games. The price is in the range of W800,000-W900,000 (US $1=W956). Samsung's mobile telecommunications chief Lee Ki-tae said mobile phones come with ever bigger storage space, something he called a global trend.
