Korea's stock market operator is planning to set up a stock exchange in Cambodia. The Korea Exchange said Monday it is about to sign a memorandum of understanding with the impoverished Southeast Asian country for a stock exchange joint venture 51 percent owned by KRX and ready for trading within three years.
In 2000, Korea also shared its know-how with Vietnam to help establish the country¡¯s stock exchange but made no equity investment.
