Samsung Electronics announced Thursday the upcoming release of a whole new kind of mobile phone which looks just like an ordinary folder type phone when calling or sending text messages but changes into a small game console with a screen that rotates 180 degrees when gaming or watching digital multimedia broadcasts.
The SCH-B450 satellite DMB phone also comes with VibeTonz technology developed by the U.S. firm Immersion, which allows users to now enjoy the vibration effects that have become a part of the normal video gaming experience, with a mobile device.
The electronics giant says that the new phone enables users to play three dimensional games and watch digital multimedia broadcasts in an optimized position when the folder screen is rotated 180 degrees, parallel to the keypads, and features a rounded edge design and soft texture that will improve the feel of the phone. The SCH-B450 model will be priced in the range of W600,000 (US $1=W952).
