Knowledge Management, a Key to Corporate Success
Conglomerates' competitiveness depends on how well they manage the knowledge of their staff, according to a report by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The largest private business organization said what's called "knowledge management" will act as a key factor to corporate success in the future.

The report is based on data compiled from 300 local companies, in which 92 percent said knowledge is the most important element in running a company. Asked what can be achieved by managing knowledge well, 52 percent of respondents said, increased efficiency, followed by a rise in corporate value for 13 percent. About half of the respondents also pointed out that better communication among co-workers can be seen as one of way to good knowledge management.
