Ice Cream Ad Pays Homage to 2002 World Cup Referee
An ad in which a man dressed in an all-black football referee's outfit reaches into his pocket for a red card but instead pulls out an ice cream bar has audiences doubling up with laughter.

As the camera zooms in for a close-up, it seems to be Byron Moreno, right at the legendary moment when he expelled Francesco Totti in the Italy-Korea match in the 2002 World Cup. In fact, though, it is that stalwart of gentlemanly roles Lim Chae-moo.

Lim¡¯s uncanny impression of the referee¡¯s mannerisms is based on thorough research and lots of practice. He recreates Moreno down to the firmly outstretched arm, hooded eyes and neatly combed-down hair, parted on the left. According to production team, Lim watched the tape of the Korea-Italy match over and over and practiced the exact way to raise his arm for more than a week. He was always first on the set practicing the action.
