Seasonal Sandstorms to Blanket Korea on Saturday
The Korea Meteorological Administration on Friday forecast that seasonal dust storms swept into Korea from the deserts of Mongolia will arrive on the peninsula on Friday night and blanket the whole nation on Saturday.

The sandstorms will be accompanied by a 60-70 percent chance of rainfall or snow in the central region in the morning and in the southern region in the afternoon. Spring frost is expected as temperature will go down dramatically on Sunday, with forecast morning lows of -5 degrees Celsius in Seoul, -3 degrees in Daejeon and -2 degrees in Gangneung.

The Ministry of Environment says fine dust brought in by the sandstorms have lately become a serious problem, increasing up to 27 times since 2000.
