Samsung Unveils 8GB Smartphone
Korea¡¯s largest electronics maker Samsung Electronics has developed the world's highest capacity Smartphone. The SGH-i310 boasts an embedded 8GB hard disk and is slated for release in Europe during the second half of the year, the company said Monday. The model comes with the latest version of Windows Mobile 5.0 to provide a PC-like environment. It can also store up to 2,000 songs (4MB/song).

Scheduled to be displayed at CeBIT 2006, the world¡¯s largest trade show for information and telecommunications technology, the i-310 features an MP3 player and a 2-megapixel camera. It has jog-type navigation keys on the front and separate music controller keys on the side that make it easy for users to access their music.
