British Int'l School to Open in Incheon by 2008
A British international school will be established in the free economic zone of Incheon by 2008. Incheon Urban Development Corp. announced Friday that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Nord Anglica Education PLC to build an international school with 48 classrooms in a leisure complex in Incheon, with a formal contract expected to be established in mid March following preliminary negotiations.

The school will consist of a kindergarten, an elementary school, a middle school and a high school on a lot roughly 34,700 square meters with the goal of opening in September 2008.

The corporation said that it expects that the commencement of construction on the international school once the contract is concluded will accelerate other development projects including schools, houses and other conveniences, as well as the international leisure complex near the facilities in the economic free zone on Incheon¡¯s Yeongjongdo island.

Nord Anglica Education PLC runs 12 private school in Britain and another 12 international schools around the world including locations in Shanghai, China.
