The ashes of Korean-born video artist Paik Nam-june, who died in January, will be placed in Korea this month. The Nam June Paik Studios in New York, which is organizing memorial services for the late artist, says Paik's nephew Ken Hakuta will bring the ashes to Korea for a memorial service on March 18 at Bongeunsa Temple in southern Seoul. The service will be open to public.
After Paik's death his family said they would place his ashes in several countries that were important to the artist including Korea, the United States and Germany.
