Italian luxury fashion brand Ferragamo has launched a shoe named Carla 2 specifically for Korean women. At the proposal of Ferragamo headquarters, the Korean office made the decision on shape, color and material of the shoes and the length of the heel.
Carla 2 resembles the original Carla, a bestseller in Korea and a remodeled version of the classic bestseller Vara, which was a ribboned shoe that came to define elegance in its day -- matched with white stockings and a diamond brooch -- and was popular worldwide for more than 30 years. The Carla added an 8.5 cm stiletto heel.
Carla 2 comes in an 8.5 cm stiletto version and a gentler solution for the calves measuring 4.5 cm, since there are those who say any shoe with a heel lower than 4 cm makes the legs look ugly. Carla 2 is made from red lizard skin.
