Capital Sees Winter's First Sparse Snow
Seoul experienced its first snow of the season on Tuesday, with nearby Incheon and Gyeonggi Province among the area where sparse snowflakes blew in the wind. The first snow typically comes in Seoul around Nov. 22 and arrived on Nov. 26 last year, three days earlier than this year.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said light snow fell in the capital area including Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi Province and Cheolwon in Gangwon Province but snow failed to pile up as it stopped after some 20 minutes.

This country¡¯s first snow this year arrived last Wednesday night in Cheolwon, Chuncheon and Wonju in Gangwon Province, Yangpyeong and Icheon in Gyeonggi Province and Chungju and Daejeon in Chungcheong Province, though in the form of sleet.

The KMA added the weather would be cloudy on Wednesday and snow or rain will fall in the central part of the Korean Peninsula on Thursday.
